——————

1/22 – Skein #1 – 3 plies coord. red
95 wraps; 54 gr.; 158 yd. unsoaked; est. 142 yd. soaked

(Chain-plied remnant of last red bobbin: 15 wraps; 8 gr.; 25 yd. unsoaked; est. 23 yd. soaked)

1/29 – Skein #2 – 2 plies red+ 1 ply GYF
97 wraps; 57 gr.; 161 yd. unsoaked; est. 150 yd. soaked

(Color in the picture with the second Skein is really off, but it’s interesting how the GYF colorway almost makes the yarn look tweedy. GYF also is spinning up more muted than I expected, butt I think that’s more an element of the Mixed BFL/Silk fiber, which itself is muted, than the actual colors.)

2/3 – Skein #3 – 1 ply red + 2 plies GYF
93 wraps; 56 gr.; 155 yd. unsoaked; xest. 140 yd. soaked

Skein #4 – 3 plies GYF
89 wraps; 55 gr.; 148 yd. unsoaked; est. 133 yd. soaked

Leftovers from last 2 bobbins, 2-ply:
5 wraps; 2 gr.; 8 yd. unsoaked; est. 7 yd. soaked

Total (est) finished yardage: 597 yd/232 grams

2.57 yd/gram = light DKish

(The colors in the final picture are still not super accurate, but I’m not sweating it at this point.)
