3/21 – This was my Nov. 2022 Personal Stash Yarn Challenge yarn. I love this color and I thought this crochet pattern would look nice with it. I have two balls to work with, though I’m not sure it’ll use up both. The pattern was for worsted though, and I’m making mine a couple inches wider, so we’ll see!
It’s a fun little two row repeat, and the puff stitches are super cute.
4/2 – I’m over halfway through my second ball of yarn. I had to rip back at least 2/3 of the first ball when I realized I’d lost stitches. Sigh. But it’s good now, though I do have to regularly count to make sure I haven’t goofed up, as I have caught more stitch count losses (and one gain!?) but at least I’m catching them rather soon after I make them.
8/13 – The fabric of this piece has been done for months. I finally blocked it a while back and then added buttons today. I put four button along one of the short edges, and while I’ll never button all of them. I like the way they look. Also these square buttons were in my stash…they may have been from Bonnie’s? At any rate, I thought the squares looked really nice with this rather square stitch pattern.
Fancy pictures soon!
